The Wisconsin Green Party will hold our 2023 Spring Gathering state membership meeting on Saturday May 20, 2023.
The theme of this gathering will be "Housing is a human right" and we will have discussions on the critical issue of housing and its many dimensions, including affordability, sustainability, homelessness, and more.

The Wisconsin Green Party stands in support of Tribal Sovereignty and Treaty Rights of the Lac du Flambeau federal Native American Indian reservation nation and their legal control over their own federal tribal lands. Nation-to-nation relations are the first and foremost guiding principle and most basic fact of legal social relationships in the present road closure dispute. The Federal Indians and the Federal government of the United States of America stand on equal terms to negotiate their decisions.

The Four Lakes Green Party has announced a slate of candidate endorsements for Madison Common Council in the April 2023 election. The Four Lakes Greens chose John W. Duncan (District 1), Juliana Bennett (District 2), Marsha Rummel (District 6), MGR Govindarajan (District 8), Nikki Conklin (District 9), and Michelle Ellinger Linley (District 18) as the best candidates to advance Green values of grassroots democracy, social justice, and ecological sustainability on the Madison Common Council.

Sharyl McFarland receives 1.6% in Secretary of State election, Wisconsin Green Party Regains Ballot Status
Sharyl McFarland got 41,496 votes for Secretary of State in the November election. This represents 1.6 percent of the vote, guaranteeing the Wisconsin Green Party's presence on the ballot for partisan elections (including President) through 2026.
Thank you to all our voters for defending democracy and supporting more voices and choices on Wisconsin's ballot! Thanks to Sharyl for her campaign. We will fight the good fight for climate justice, human rights and grassroots democracy together.
